My First Suburban 4x4

Suburban 4x4 The original SUV
My History with Chevy Suburban 4x4
I grew up without a suburban 4x4 in my life.  My dad was a chevrolet mechanic and so our whole family was GMC only and Chevy first.  I remember occasionally riding in a suburban 4x4 with family friends.  My dad left being a full time mechanic to be a preacher and we lived in rural farming communities where everyone drove a truck or a suburban 4x4 for work purposes.  I remember the first time showing up to help a farmer in a community we had just moved to and I was shocked because it was the first time I met anyone who drove a Ford and not a Chevy or suburban 4x4.
Several years ago our family expanded to six children and we had difficulty finding a vehicle that would fit our family plus we had started a remodeling business and so we purchased our first suburban it was not a chevy suburban 4x4, it was only two wheel drive, but we loved the vehicle.  The only draw back it had was it had the tailgate and we ended up with multiple rear windows broken.  I even had high performance exhaust to the new 350 small block that I put in it.  Loved that suburban.  Then over a series of events we moved and sold the suburban and drove several other vehicles.
Two years ago we needed a second vehicle with all the teenagers driving and I found a nice suburban 4x4 similar to the suburban I had previously.  I bought it without the third seat and had to hunt for one.  I found a suburban 4x4 third seat at a junk yard but it was leather and brand new and they wanted four hundred dollars.  The owner told me he would sell the whole truck for two grand.  I saw it and loved it and that suburban 4x4 has been the only vehicle I drive anymore.

Why I Love Suburban 4x4
suburban 4x4 offers several things that set them apart from other vehicles, although in the last few years there have been several auto manufacturers take a piece of the market, like Ford Expedition and Excursion, Lincoln Navigator and then a slew of smaller SUVs.
I love the long history that General Motors has in manufacturing the suburban 4x4 for many decades.  This gives you tried and tested parts and service that can be beat.
suburban 4x4 also has several user features that make it outstanding.  The most obvious is the clearance that suburban 4x4 offers for off-roading or driving through snow or sand.  Along with the clearance a natural benefit is the visibility that is offered because the suburban 4x4 sits so high off the ground making the vehicle very visible to other drivers and giving the driver of thee suburban 4x4 great visibility of the road and other drivers.
The particular suburban 4x4 that we are driving now has leather seats and I have found with a bad back and hips and fibromyalgia, that I can no longer stand to sit in any other vehicle.  Our family size has been reduced with children marrying and going off to college and we don’t need the size anymore but I just can’t find a substitute to my suburban 4x4.
